January 19, 1977

6. The amount of water:

42 acre feet with natural water. surface elevation
of approximately 8,756 feet.

7. The use of the water:

This appropriation is made pursuant to C.R.S. 1973,
37-92-102(3) and 37-92-103(3) and (4). The purpose
of this appropriation by the s1:ate of Colorado is to
insure the preservation of a minimum lake level to
protect the natural environrnen1: to a reasonable
degree.

8. The priority herein awarded said Hartsel Lake was filed in
the Water Court in the year of 1977 and shall be admin-
istered as having been filed in that year; and shall be
junior to all priorities filed in previous years. As
between all rights, filed in the same calendar year, priorities
shall be determined by historical dates of appropriation and
not affected by the date of ent:ry of ruling.
