The use of the water: This appropriation is made p".J.rsuant to C.R.S. 1973, 37-92-102(3) and 37-92-103(3) and (4). The purpose of this appropriation by the State of Colorado is to insure the preservation of a minimum lake level to protect the natural enviJ::onmE~nt to a reasonable degree. 8. The Applicant, by Stipulation, does not acknowledge at this time any rights to water by the united States of America, but in the future if the United States of America shall seek appropriate judicial determination of any claimed water rights in the watershed involved herein, the Applicant stipulates and agrees that its right shall be subject to any adjudicated senior right of the United States of America. 9. The priority herein awarded said Betty Lake was filed in the Water Court in t.he year of 1976 and shall be administered as having been filed in that year; and shall be junior to all priori1:ies filed in previous years. As between all rights, filed in the same calendar year, priorities shall be determined by historical dates of appro- priation and not affected by the date of entry of ruling.
