<br />vote of both houses of the general assembly; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The general assembly deems the recommended <br />expenditures described in the species conservation eligibility list to be in the <br />interest of the people of the state; now, therefore, <br /> <br />Be It Resolved by the Senate of the Sixty-fourth General Assembly of the <br />State of Colorado, the House of Representatives concurring herein: <br /> <br />(l) That the executive director of the department of natural resources <br />is authorized to obligate and expend one million six hundred forty-three <br />thousand dollars ($1,643,000) from the capital account of the species <br />conservation trust fund for the following activities, programs, and species <br />in the following amounts: <br /> <br />PROGRAM 1 SPECIES <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />(a) Upper Colorado endangered fish recovery <br />program (upper Colorado river recovery <br />implementation plan: $1,489,000; San Juan <br />river recovery implementation plan: $154,000) <br /> <br />$ 1,643,000 <br /> <br />Total capital account allocation <br /> <br />$1,643,000 <br /> <br />(2) That the following amounts revert to the capital account of the <br />species conservation trust fund from the following activities, programs, and <br />specIes: <br /> <br />PROGRAM 1 SPECIES <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />(a) 1999 - 2000: Platte river basin cooperative species <br />programs (Arkansas darter and Dolores ponds) <br /> <br />$154,179 <br /> <br />(b) 1999 - 2000: San Juan 1 upper Colorado river <br />endangered fish recovery programs (upper <br />Colorado river berm work - residual) <br /> <br />$ 2,000 <br /> <br />(c) 2000 - 2001: Upper Colorado rivernollllative <br />fish control programs (cancellation of Duke and <br />Connected Lakes project) <br /> <br />$325,000 <br /> <br />PAGE 2-SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 04-031 <br />
