OR GAS <br /> <br />A:-JD ELECTRICAL SERVICE. <br /> <br />(v) "REGION" MEANS TWO OR MORE MUNICIPALITIES OR COUNTIES. <br />OR ANY COMBINATION OF THE TWO. <br /> <br />(2) "REGIONAL PLAN" MEANS A PLAN ADOPTED IN CONFORMITY <br />WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF PART 6 OF THIS ARTICLE TO CARRY OUT THE <br />PLANNING FUNCTIONS REQUIRED BY THIS ARTICLE. <br />(aa) "REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION" MEANS A BODY <br />ESTABLISHED IN THE DENVER METROPOLITAN AREA REGION PURSUANT TO <br /> <br />SECTION 24-63-602 TO CARRY OUT THE PLANNING FUNCTIONS REQUIRED BY <br /> <br />THIS ARTICLE. <br /> <br />ebb) "RURAL DEVELOPMENT AREAS" MEANS A PORTION OF RURAL <br />LANDS DESIGNATED BY A LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION IN ACCORDANCE <br /> <br />WITH SECTION 24-63-303 (3). <br />(CC) "URBAN DESIGN STANDARDS" MEANS CONSISTENT AND <br /> <br />COMMONLY DEFINED DESIGN ELEMENTS THAT PROMOTE MIXED USE AND <br /> <br />COMPACT DEVELOPMENT INTEGRATED WITH PEDESTRIAN AND ALTERNATE <br /> <br />TRANSIT SYSTEMS AND PURPOSEFUL OPEN SPACE. <br /> <br />(dd) "URBAN GROWTH" OR "URBAN DEVELOPMENT" MEANS <br />DEVELOPMENT SERVED BY CENTRAL WATER AND SEWER THAT MAKES <br /> <br />INTENSIVE USE OF LAND FOR THE LOCATION OF BUILDINGS. OTHER <br /> <br />STRUCTURES. AND IMPERMEABLE SURFACES TO SUCH A DEGREE AS TO BE <br /> <br />INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE PRIMARY USE OF SUCH LAND FOR THE <br /> <br />PRODUCTION OF FOOD. FIBER. OR OTHERAGRICUL TURAL PRODUCTS OR THE <br /> <br />EXTRACTION OF MINERAL RESOURCES ANDTHA T. WHEN SPREAD OVER WIDE <br /> <br />AREAS. TYPICALLY REQUIRES URBAN SERVICES. <br /> <br />(ee) "URBAN SERVICE" MEANS THOSE ACTIVITIES. FACILITIES. AND <br /> <br />-15- <br /> <br />1225 <br />
