<br /> <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />SENATE BILL 03-348 <br /> <br />BY SENATOR(S) Owen, Reeves, Teck, and Arnold; <br />also REPRESENTATIVE(S) Young, Plant, and Witwer. <br /> <br />CONCERNING MODIFICATIONS TO THE DESIGNATION OF THE STATE <br />EMERGENCY RESERVE FOR THE 2002-03 STATE FISCAL YEAR. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 1 (20) of chapter 399, Session Laws of <br />Colorado 2002, is amended to read: <br /> <br />Section 1. Definitions - general provisions. As used in this act, the <br />following definitions and general provisions shall apply: <br /> <br />(20) For purposes of complying with the provisions of subsection <br />(5) of section 20 of article X in the state constitution: <br /> <br />(a) EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF THIS <br />SUBSECTION (20), the balance of funds in the employment support fund, <br />created in section 8-77-109 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes, the tobacco <br />litigation settlementtrust fund, created in section 24-22-115.5 (2), Colorado <br /> <br />Capital letters indicate new material added to existing statutes; dashes <br />through words indicate deletions from existing statutes and such material <br />not part of act. <br />
