<br />1981 <br /> <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />----& -- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />SENATE BILL NO. 76. <br /> <br />BY SENATOR Hefley; <br />also REPRESENTATIVE Traylor, Davoren, ~~d Hudson. <br /> <br />CONCERNING THE STATE prOCUREMENT OF CONSULTANTS' SERVICES. <br /> <br />Be it enacted 2l the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 24-30-1404. (3), Colorado Revi sed Statutes 1973, <br />as amended, is REPEALED AND REENACTED, WITH AMENDMENTS, to read: <br /> <br />24-30-1404. Contracts. (3) Upon completion of <br />negotiations with the third most qualified person, the principal <br />representative shall be allowed to enter into renegotiations with <br />any or all of. the three most qualified persons to arrive at a <br />satisfactory contractual arrangement, if possible. The principal <br />representative shall have .the authority to reject all bids and <br />restructure or redesign the proposed project. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Effective date -- applicability. This act shall <br />take effect January 1, 1982, and shall apply to contracts <br />solicited or entered into on or after said date. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby <br /> <br />Capital letters indicate new material added to existing statutes; <br />dashes through words indicate deletions from existing statutes and <br />such material not part of act. <br />
