<br />CHAPTER 261 <br /> <br />WATER AND IRRIGATION <br /> <br />SENATE BILL 02-068 [Digestl <br /> <br />BY SENATOR(S) Entz; <br /> <br />also REPRESENTATIVE(S) Hoppe, Alexander, Crane, Harvey, Kester, Larson, Marshall, Rhodes, <br />Snook, Stafford, Webster, and White. <br /> <br />AN ACT <br /> <br />CONCERNING PER DIEM COMPENSATION FOR THE APPOINTED MEMBERS OF THE <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD, AND MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly a/the State a/Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 37-60-1 I I (I), Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended to read: <br /> <br />37-60-111. Compensation of members - director - employees. (I) Each appointed member of <br />the board akall a61. c "itheM o51~eflJati6n 5tlt ahall Be paia hi~ aahilll Met flcoc33t\1) trft. elift!; afld atLer <br />exp~nJcJ "hilt: ana) Nom. hi;) hame. il~ ttc pcd3lmfii~ee oftk" dtttieB 5fhiJ 5ffiee NOT OTHERWISE <br />IN FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT OF THE STATE SHALL RECEIVE A PER DIEM ALLOWANCE <br />OF FIFTY DOLLARS FOR EACH DAY ACTUALLY AND NECESSARILY SPENT IN THE <br />DISCHARGE OF OFFICIAL DUTIES, AND ALL MEMBERS SHALL RECEIVE TRAVELING <br />AND OTHER NECESSARY EXPENSES ACTUALLY INCURRED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF <br />OFFICIAL DUTIES. PER DIEM AND OTHER EXPENSES PAID UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL <br />BE FROM MONEYS APPROPRIATED FROM THE COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION <br />BOARD CONSTRUCTION FUND. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Appropriation. In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, <br />out of any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board construction fund created in section 37-60- <br />121, Colorado Revised Statutes, not otherwise appropriated, to the department of natural resources, <br />water conservation board, for operating expenses, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, the sum of <br />ten thousand eight hundred dollars ($ I 0,800), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the <br />implementation of this act. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Effective date.
