<br />WHEREAS, This project would keep water in the Western Slope rivers, but such water would still be <br />available to the state for consumptive use; now, therefore, <br />Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Sixty-third General Assembly of the State of <br />Colorado, the Senate concurring herein: <br />That we, the members of the Sixty-third General Assembly, hereby give the strongest indication to the <br />Colofado Water Conservation Boafd that the Big Straw water project is worthy of study at this time on a first <br />priority basis to include determining the parameters and cost estimates of implementing such a project. <br />Be It Further Resolved, That copies of this Joint Resolution be sent to each membef of the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board and to the Executive Difector of the Department of Natural Resources. <br />
