<br />e <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />-..-/ -- <br />~ <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />SENATE BILL 03-195 <br /> <br />BY SENATOR(S) Owen, Reeves, and Teck; <br />also REPRESENTATlVE(S) Young, Plant, Witwer, and Lee. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CONCERNING THE AMOUNT OF THE GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATION FOR THE <br />STATE'S SHARE OF DISTRICTS' TOTAL PROGRAM FUNDING REQUIRED TO <br />BE MADE TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 17 (5) OF ARTICLE IX <br />OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION, AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 22-54-104.1 (1), (4), and (5), Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, are amended to read: <br /> <br />22-54-104.1. General fund appropriations requirements - <br />maintenance of effort base - general fund appropriation for 2001-02 and <br />2002-03 fiscal years. (1) In accordance with section 17 (5) of article IX <br />of the state constitution, for state fiscal years 2001-02 through 2010-11, the <br />general assembly shall annually appropriate from the general fund for total <br />program under the provisions of this article an amount equal to the <br />maintenance of effort base pIus an amount as determined annually by the <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Capital letters indicate new material added to existing statutes; dashes <br />through words indicate deletions from existing statutes and such material <br />not part of act. <br />
