Tool, Tucker, Tupa, and <br />Young; <br />also SENATOR MUlZcbaugh. <br /> <br />AN ACT <br /> <br />CONCERNING THE TERMINATION OF REQiJlREMENTS FOR PERIODIC REPORTS TO THE GENERAL <br />ASSEMBLY, AND, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, ESTABLISHING A TERl\.IINATION SCHEDULE FOR. <br />SUCH REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the Gen.eral Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Legislative declaration - review of obsolete reporting <br />requirements - subjects grouped to parallel subjects covered by committees <br />of reference. (I) The general assembly hereby finds, detennines, and declares <br />that <br /> <br />(a) There are a number of existing statutes that require agencies to file reports <br />with the general assembly; <br /> <br />(b) Many of these statutes may no longer be relevant and many are obsolete <br />and unnecessary; and.' <br /> <br />(c) These statutes should be reviewed by the general assembly and a <br />determination made as to whether or not they should be repealed. <br /> <br />(2) To facilitate this review, selected repeals are grouped together in the <br />remainder of this act. These repeals are grouped on the basis of subject matter <br />that would generally be familiar to the committees of reference.
