THOUSAND dollars WHICH, NOTWITHSTANDING THE INTRODUCTORY
PORTION OF THIS SUBSECTION (6), SHALL ACCRUE EXCLUSIVELY TO
THE FISH AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES ACCOUNT IN THE COLORADO WATER
CONSERVATION BOARD CONSTRUCTION FUND;

(c) On July I, 1990, f~fteeR--~~~~~eR FOURTEEN MILLION
SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars. IN DISTRIBUTING SAID SUM, THE
FORMULA IN THE INTRODUCTORY PORTION TO THIS SUBSECTION (6)
SHALL BE APPLIED TO THE SUM OF FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS, WHICH
IS THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ACCRUALS ON JULY I, 1989, AND JULY 1.
1990, WITH THE FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLAR ACCRUAL TO THE
FISH AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES ACCOUNT ON JULY I, 1989, BEING
CONSIDERED AS A PARTIAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE FIFTY-PERCENT
SHARE OF THE.FISH AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES ACCOUNT IN SAID
FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS.

(d) On July I, 1991, ;weRty FIFTEEN million dollars; .

(e) On July I, 1992, twenty million dollars.

SECTION 2. 37-60-121, Colorado Revised Statutes, as
amended, is amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUBSECTION to
read:

37-60-121. Colorado water conservation board
construction fund - creation of - nature of fund - funds for
investioations - contributions - use for auomentino the
oenera 1 fund. ( 6.1) In order to e 1 imi nate any doubt as to
the effect of the delay in transferri ng moneys ori gi na lly
scheduled to be transferred as of July I, 1989, the general
assembly hereby authorizes the Colorado water conservation
board, pursuant to section 37-60-122 (1). (b), and
notwithstanding the said delay, to enter into a binding
agreement with the. secretary of the United States' department
of the interior to contribute, ,On,a~nonreimbursable"basis,.

sum to be expended from such moneys as are or may hereafter
become available to the Colorado water conservation board
construction fund, and hereby reaffirms its authorization for
the Colorado water resources and power development authority
to proceed to consider the Ridges Basin dam of the Animas-La
Plata project contained in Senate Joint Resolution No.6,
passed at the 1982 regular session of the general assembly,
with the expectation that the share of the authority for the
Ridoes Basin dam will not exceed two million eioht hundred
thousand dollars, which sum is in addition to those sums
previously committed by the authority to the Animas-La Plata
