NOTH1NG lN THIS <br /> <br />SUBSECTION (8) SHALL BECONSTRUED AS PROHIBITlNG THE CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />OF LIMITED FACILITIES IN SUPPORT OF USES CONSISTENT WITH THE <br /> <br />DESIGNATION. <br /> <br />24-63-304. Urban service area. (1) IN ITS MASTER PLAN, EACH <br /> <br />LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION SHALL DES1GNATE AN URBAN SERVICE <br /> <br />AREA SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOW1NG REQUIREMENTS; <br />(a) THE URBAN SERVICE AREA SHALL BE NO GREATER THAN AN <br /> <br />AMOUNT OF LAND NEEDED FOR RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL. AND <br /> <br />INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT GIVEN PROJECTIONS OF POPULATION AND JOB <br /> <br />GROWTH. PROJECTED DENSITY. AND THE LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION's <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ABILITY TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN AN ADEQUATE LEVEL OF <br /> <br />SERVICES FOR THE SUCCEEDING TWENTY YEAR PERIOD. SUCH URBAN <br /> <br />SERVICE AREA SHALL BE AMENDED OR UPDATED AT LEAST EVERY FIVE <br /> <br />YEARS PURSUANT TO THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN SECTION 24-63-302 <br /> <br />(4) AND (7). <br /> <br />(b) WITHIN THE GENERAL URBAN SERVICE AREA, THE LOCAL <br /> <br />-42- <br /> <br />148 <br />
