OR 31. C.R.S" OR PURSUANT TO <br /> <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL HOME RULE AUTHORITY. AS OF JULY I. 2001. AND THAT <br /> <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br /> <br />FURTHER COMPLIES WiTH THE TERMS OF PARAGRAPH (d) OF THIS <br />SUBSECTION (2.1). SHALL BE REQUIRED TO ADOPT A NEW OR DIFFERENT <br /> <br />10 MASTER PLAN PURSUANT TO THIS ARTICLE. WHERE SUCH ADOPTED MASTER <br /> <br /> <br />11 PLAN SATISFIES THE FQLLOWING REQUIREMENTS TQ THE EXTENT <br /> <br /> <br />12 APPLlCABLE: <br /> <br />13 (a) THE LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION HAS ADOPTED A MASTER <br /> <br />14 PLAN OR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DELlNEAT1NG URBAN1ZED AREAS AND <br /> <br />15 GROWTH BOUNDARIES THAT ARE ADJACENT TO OR CONTIGUOUS WiTH <br /> <br />16 EXISTING MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES AND THAT ARE NOT IN CONFLICT WITH <br /> <br />17 THE DESIGNATED URBANIZED AREAS AND GROWTH BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> <br />18 ADJACENT LOCAL PLANNJNG JURISDICTIONS. AND THAT HAS DESIGNATED <br /> <br /> <br />19 NO'lURBANIZED AREAS THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO PROTECT <br /> <br />20 NATURAL LAND. LOW-INTENSITY LAND USES. AND RURAL OR HISTORlCAL <br />21 CHARACTER AND TO PROVIDE FOR SEPARATION BETWEEN COMMUNITIES. <br /> <br />22 (b) A LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION THAT IS A COUNTY HAS <br /> <br /> <br />23 COORDINATED ITS MASTER PLAN OR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WITH A <br /> <br />24 MAJORITY OF THE MUNICIPALITIES WITHIN ITS TERRITORY, A LOCAL <br /> <br />25 PLANNING JURISDICTION THAT IS A MUNICIPALiTY HAS COORDINATED iTS <br /> <br />26 COMPREHENSIVE OR MASTER PLAN WITH THOSE OF THE ADJACENT LOCAL <br /> <br />27 JURISDICTIONS. WHICH COORDINATION MAY BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH <br /> <br />-21- <br /> <br />148 <br />
