A BILL FOR AN ACT
CONCERNING STATE ASSISTANCE TO POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS FOR
WATER TREATMENT FACILITIES, AND PROVIDING SUCH ASSISTANCE
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF DOMESTIC
WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS AND POTABLE WATER TREATMENT
FACILITIES AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS THEREFOR.

Bi 11 Summary

Provides a means whereby the state, through the
department of local. affairs and water quality control
commission, may provide low-interest loans and grants to
political subdivisions for the construction. and improvement of
domestic wastewater treatment works and potable water
treatment facilities.
Provides that funding of such project may include moneys
from the lottery fund and the severance tax trust fund, and
makes appropriations from such funds and the general fund for
implementation of the act.
