Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Sixty-fourth
General Assembly of the State of Colorado, the Senate concurring herein:

That, on this 19th day of February 2004, the Senate and House of
Representatives ofthe State of Colorado do jointly proclaim and recognize
the outstanding service and dedication that Colorado's water commissioners
have rendered to the citizens of Colorado during their past 125 years of
public service.

Be It Further Resolved, That copies of this Joint Resolution be sent to
the Governor of the State of Colorado, Bill Owens; the Executive Director
ofthe Department of Natural Resources, Russell George; the State Engineer
within the Division of Water Resources, Hal Simpson; the Director of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board, Rod Kuharich; and the division
engineer for each of the seven water divisions of the state.
