Fort <br /> Lupton's average water use over the last five years has been 1,964 acre feet per year and it is <br /> estimated to increase and consistently become a covered entity by 2020. Fort Lupton has <br /> been growing in population by 1.5% each year adding approximately 40 new homes each year. <br /> Fort Lupton estimates the water savings for this Plan will be a reduction in per capita water <br /> use by 10% or 200 acre-feet per year over the seven year planning period. The City plans to <br /> improve their metering system in an effort to detect leaks faster. <br /> The total cost of the project is $58,274'93' Fort Lupton is committing 47% matching <br /> funds in the form of $13,827.97 of in-kind services and $12,446.97 in cash. CWCB staff <br /> has reviewed and evaluated the grant application and has determined that the <br /> proposal meets or exceeds the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals. <br /> Attached is the internal checklist used to evaluate the application. <br /> Attachment: Evaluation Checklist <br />
