CII <br /> programming is recognized as a best practice for water providers. The AWWA reports <br /> that CII programming have saved surveyed utilities an average of 377 acre feet per <br /> year. CII efficiency opportunities would help meet conservation goals in the Water <br /> Plan. <br /> The City of Fort Collins is proposing to hold a workshop for 10-15 water providers to <br /> provide technical training on commercial water auditing. The workshop will be held <br /> over three 8-hour days which includes classroom style lessons on data analysis, <br /> coupled with three to five commercial site visits. Workshop participants will gain the <br /> knowledge to improve or implement their own CII programs. <br /> The total cost of the project is $23,942'65' Fort Collins is committing 37% matching <br /> funds in the form of $8,402'65 of in-kind services. CWCB staff has reviewed and <br /> evaluated the grant application and has determined that the proposal meets or <br /> exceeds the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals.
