Wellington's average retail delivery has been under 1,000 acre-feet per <br /> year over the last five years but it is estimated to increase to approximately 1'300 acre-feet <br /> by 2022. The Town estimates it will double in population by build out in 2032. Currently, 9 <br /> new commercial developments will be added to the Town. Wellington anticipates more <br /> commercial development will increase in the next few years. <br /> Wellington estimates the water savings for this Plan will be a reduction in water use by 5% or <br /> 13 acre-feet per year over the next five years. The Town is exploring the possibility of <br /> participating in NISP to assist in long-term storage. <br /> The total cost of the project is $57,910. Wellington is committing 48% matching funds <br /> in the form of $14,635 of in-kind services and $13,275 in cash. CWCB staff has <br /> reviewed and evaluated the grant application and has determined that the proposal <br /> meets or exceeds the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals.
