DNR COLORADO <br /> CO Colorado Water <br /> Conservation Board <br /> Depanment of Natural Resources <br /> Colorado Water Conservation Board <br /> Water Plan Grant (WPG)- Exhibit A <br /> Statement Of Work <br /> Name of Grantee: Colorado Foundation for Water Education dba Water Education <br /> Colorado(CFWE) <br /> Name of Water Project: Deepening Water Engagement through Expansion of the Water <br /> Educator Network <br /> WPG grants -Education and Innovation Grant Fund; Matching <br /> Funding Source: funding: $20,000 from Water Ed CO Sponsorships&$4,000 from <br /> CWCB Annual Funding <br /> Water Project Overview: <br /> CFWE seeks to expand two of their most far reaching programs: <br /> Water Educator Network(WEN) -WEN established in 2014, is an outcome of the Water Education Task <br /> Force comprised of educators who are interested in increasing the amount, quality and effectiveness of <br /> water education across Colorado. This grant would provide support to expand the goal of WEN which is <br /> to both coordinate activities and increase the capacity of local water educators. They will build their <br /> capacity to provide resources, trainings and collaboration opportunities that are easily accessible and <br /> simple to implement as well as develop an online water resource directory. <br /> Project Objectives: <br /> • To coordinate and accelerate water education activities statewide by improving educators' skills, <br /> providing access to tools and resources, and fostering connection among educators. <br /> • Ultimately, to reach more Coloradans with critical information and resources so they can <br /> understand water as a limited resource and be equipped to lend an informed perspective to <br /> water conversations and initiatives. <br /> Water Plan Grant Exhibit A - Statement of Work 'Page 1 of 4 <br />
