They are requesting a loan in <br /> the amount of$188K (not to exceed 75% of the estimated total project cost of about $250K). <br /> The Wood's Lake Dam is located 5 miles west of Eaton. The emergency spillway for the <br /> reservoir is inadequate by State Engineer standards. The embankment is constructed of low <br /> density silt, and has a high phreatic surface. <br /> Preliminary engineering design work as well as a draft feasibility study are being completed by <br /> Duane Smith P.E. of Smith Geotechnical, Fort Collins. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The project involves rehabilitation of the dam to meet State Engineer safety standards. <br /> The proposed project will maintain the current reservoir capacity of 3100 acre feet. 1829 acres <br /> are irrigated by Woods Lake, and there are a total of 2100 acres under the system, with some <br /> water coming from other sources. <br /> The estimated project cost is $250K, and the Company will fund $62K itself. The remaining <br /> $188K cost is to be funded by a CWCB loan. The loan will have an annual payment of about <br />
