February 21,2017. at the office of the Central Colorado water Conservancy District <br /> located at 3209 W 28 St. Greeley Colorado. The meeting was called to order at 10:02 A.M. and <br /> the following Directors were present: Randy Knutson. President: Everett Kissler.Jim Reasoner <br /> by teleconference, Dave Bernhardt. Doug Dill. Ralph Anders. Don Rosenbroek, Tom Brown. <br /> Vem Kammerzell. Steve Bruntz, Alan Axton. Bret Schmidt. Chad Schater. and Frank Eckhardt. <br /> Gary Herman was absent. <br /> Others present were: Randy Ray. Executive Director: Lynn Kramer. Contracts Manager. <br /> Ruthanne Schaffer. Senior Water Accountant; Kim Lawrence of Lawrence.Jones. Custer and <br /> Grasmick, Zach Wcngrovius of Brown and Caldwell: Andy Moore of CWCB: Mary Halstead of <br /> DNR; Don Diones and Robyn Moore with George K Baum: Willem Schreuder. Principia <br /> Mathematica; Aaron Million. Billy Mihelich with White Sands Water Engineers. and Bill Ray <br /> with WR Communications. <br /> President Randy Knutson opened the meeting. <br /> President Randy Knutson offered his condolences to Kathy Parker and her family for the loss of <br /> her husband last week. <br /> ACCEPT INTO THE RECORD THE CONSENT CALENDAR. DECEMBER AND JANUARY AS PRF.SF,NTED. <br /> Motion: Ralph Anders <br /> Second: Everett Kissler <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> PUBLIC DISCUSSION <br /> Don Diones and Robyn Moore from George K Baum & Company spoke to the Board about the <br /> possibility of putting a bond issue on the ballot in 2018 for GMS. Property values are possibly <br /> going up fi-,r 25%for residential and will go down only 5% for oil and gas. <br /> Bill Ray addressed the Board about our public relations. I le has been working with Randy Ray <br /> and Kathy Parker about who Central is and the importance of water supply and water projects in <br /> the District. They are working on increasing our social media presence among other public <br /> outreach efforts. <br /> Andy Moore, Mary Halstead. and Zach gave a presentation on the SPDSS Groundwater Model. <br /> They reviewed the objectives of the model. history, updates. recent model calibrations.effects of <br /> 1 <br />
