Each iCentrat is
equipped with a rain sensor and an ET controller. When fully installed, the Town
estimates this retrofit will save 1.9 acre feet per year. The Town also intends to give
away 50 WaterSense approved irrigation clocks to residents who currently have clocks
that are malfunctioning. Each resident who replaces their existing clock with the Clock
Retrofit program is estimated to save about 10% from their current outdoor water use.
The total cost of the project is $46,664.49. Firestone is committing 25% matching
funds in the form of $10,941.94 or in-kind services and $1,000 in cash. CWCB staff has
reviewed and evaluated the grant application and has determined that the proposal
meets or exceeds the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals. Attached is the
internal checklist used to evaluate the application.
Attachment: Evaluation Checklist
