Project Summary Report
Project Overview
The Colorado Water Information Dashboards Project is a collaboration between the Colorado
Water Conservation Board (CWCB), the South Platte Basin Roundtable, Leonard Rice
Engineers, Inc. (LRE) and six major water users in the South Platte Basin. The project was
funded by CWCB Water Supply Reserve Grant CTGG1 2015-3260, which was awarded to the
Central Colorado Water Conservancy District (CCWCD) in 2015. The total project cost of
$332,200 was funded with $35,000 from the Project Partners, $220,000 from the CWCB grant,
and $77,200 from in-kind matching from the Project Partners and LRE. CCWCD received
approximately 10% of the total budget to cover administration costs. The breakout of these
funds by project task is shown in Table 1 below. A list of the Project Partners is included in
Table 2.
The Dashboards Project focused on two primary goals: 1) delivering to each project partner a
fully implemented dashboard website of their own and 2) creating an open-source repository
of the code and processes developed as part of the dashboard development. Partners fully
own their finished dashboards and the public repository can be used to jump-start future
water information data management and automation projects. Additional details about the
