ORCHARD MESA IRRIGATION DISTRICT <br /> ANNUAL MEETING and GENERAL ELECTION <br /> JANUARY 12, 2017 <br /> BALLOT <br /> NUMBER OF WATER RIGHT ACRES VOTED IN PERSON <br /> NUMBER OF WATER RIGHT ACRES VOTED BY PROXY <br /> 1. The Board of Directors is authorized: (1) to proceed with Phases 2 and 3 of <br /> the Sorenson Engineering, Inc. contract dated October 12, 2016, for the repair and <br /> rehabilitation of the Grand Valley Powerplant; (2) to accept any and all grant <br /> funding obtained by the District for the necessary repair and rehabilitation of the <br /> Grand Valley Powerplant and to enter into such grant applications or agreements as <br /> may be required to obtain such grants, such grants to fund all or a portion of Phases <br /> 2 & 3 of the Sorenson Engineering, Inc. contract; and (3) to enter into a binding <br /> loan contract with the Colorado Water Conservation Board in an amount not to <br /> exceed $1,700,000.00 at an interest rate not to exceed 2.0% with a term of 30 years <br /> to fund all or a portion of Phases 2 & 3 of the Sorenson Engineering, Inc. contract. <br /> YES <br /> NO <br /> I declare that I am qualified to vote in OMID election under the Irrigation District <br /> Law of 1921. <br /> Those entitled to vote in District elections are: <br /> (1)An owner of agricultural land within the district who(a)is eighteen(18)years of age or older;(b)is a citizen <br /> of the United States or who has declared his intention to become a citizen of the United States;(c)is a resident of <br /> the State of Colorado; and, (d) (i)has paid real property taxes upon property located within the District on an <br /> area in excess of one(1)acre during the year preceding the election(if a resident of the District)or on an area of <br /> 40 acres or more(if not a resident of the District)or(ii)is an entryman upon public lands of the United States <br /> and is residing there.
