• I've attached the original board approval and memo. Please provide an update to Table 5 of
that board memo so we can see how everything is coming along in a global Big Elk
perspective.
Projected Recovery Funding
Activity Project Cost Special Assessment FEMA\CBG-DR\CDPHE
Dam Construction 3,285,000 821,250 2,463,750
Water Distribution 3,055,000 493,750 2,561,250
TOTAL $6,340,000 $1,315,000 $5,025,000
The above costs are the combined projects as of EOY 2016. Regarding the Special Assessments
the BEMA receipts of$830,000 will be cover the association's responsibility to match the
required 25% match. The CBG-DR funds of$1.5 million have been allocated to BEMA to assist
in the rebuilding of the dams and restoration of the lakes. The BEWA receipts $800,000 will
cover the $500,000 portion of the required matching funds. The remaining $300,000 have been
used to cover non-reimbursable expenses. Also the $1 million dollars received from CDPHE did
not have a matching component. The other components presented in Table 5 were never
realized.
