City of
Walsenburg
525 South APoert • Walsenburg, CobrWo 81089 • (719) 738.1240 • FAX (119) 738-1875
February 23, 2017
Anna Mauss, P.E.
Colorado Water Conservation Board
1313 Sherman St#718
Denver, CO 80203
RE: Request for additional time for Feasibility Study Grant POGG1 2017-736 City of
Walsenburg
Dear Ms. Mauss,
In our original feasibility study grant request, the City of Walsenburg and its engineer
anticipated an April 1, 2017 deliverable date for the loan application and Loan Feasibility
Study. In reviewing the purchase order, it was noted the expiration date is March 31,
2017. While we intend to make that deadline, final reporting and billing will likely take
additional time. To be sure the City does not invoice beyond the purchase order
expiration date, we are requesting an additional 8 months and would like to extend the
purchase order until December 1, 2017.
Sincerely,
Ames Eccher, Mayor
City of Walsenburg
