tl Louis Berger <br /> Date:January 29,2015 <br /> To:Dr.Jerry F.Kenny,Executive Director—Platte River Recovery Implementation Program <br /> Subject:December 27,2014 to January 23,2015 Progress Report <br /> Percent of Budget Expended—26.8% <br /> Percent Complete (by task) — Per the Scope of Services, time from December 27, 2014 through January <br /> 2015 was spent on the Peer Review of Tern/Plover Synthesis Chapters and recruitment for the Peer Review of the Wet <br /> Meadows Hydrologic Monitoring Approach. <br /> Peer Review of Tern/Plover Synthesis Chapters <br /> The Governance Committee made its selections for the tern and plover peer review between September and <br /> November 2014.Louis Berger notified all of the candidates that were not selected. Following final approval of <br /> the four reviewers in November,Louis Berger initiated the review by distributing the files to the reviewers via <br /> Dropbox and holding individual conference calls with each reviewer to discuss the scope of work, <br /> deliverables, and schedule, and answer any questions. Louis Berger began populating the comment <br /> spreadsheet and initiating the summary report in December 2014,after receiving comments from three of the <br /> four reviewers. The fourth reviewer provided his comments in mid-January 2015, after which Louis Berger <br /> was able to prepare a complete draft report for EDO review. In January Louis Berger facilitated several email <br /> exchanges between the EDO and two of the reviewers to clarify their comments. <br /> Peer Review of Wet Meadows Hydrologic Monitoring Approach <br /> During November 2014 through January 2015 Louis Berger recruited candidates for the wet meadows peer <br /> review.A total of 26 candidates have been identified and 18 have been contacted. Of those,8 have confirmed <br /> their interest and all but one have sent their files (CV,biographical sketch,no-conflict-of-interest statement). <br /> Study Status and Progress to Date <br /> Louis Berger is currently wrapping up the tern and plover summary report for submittal to the PRRIP in <br /> January 2015. Louis Berger is seeking one additional candidate for the wet meadows peer review, and <br /> anticipates submittal of a draft report by early February 2015. <br /> Billing Projection for Late January—February 2015 <br /> $2,500 - $3,500 preparing final work products for the Tern/Plover Synthesis Chapters peer review and <br /> recruitment report for the\Vet Meadows Hydrologic Monitoring Approach peer review. <br /> Comments/Concerns <br /> None <br /> l ui:.:, ,°ger COM <br />
