22 <br /> 1 So this just shows comparing to the severe <br /> 2 drought in 1934 . Just wanted to compare that to • <br /> 3 2013 . That was the Dust Bowl period . We were <br /> 4 actually worse in April of this year than they were <br /> 5 in 1934 , as you can see , but by June the entire - - <br /> 6 almost the entire country in 1934 was suffering <br /> 7 dramatically from the drought , but by September, we <br /> 8 had improved significantly this year and they had <br /> 9 also in 1934 , but we are in much better shape now <br /> 10 than we were , not only in 1934 but in 2002 . THOMPSON : I wanted to mention that • <br /> 14 yesterday we had discussed a little bit , Steve had <br /> 15 the idea that perhaps on the beaver control <br /> 16 problems , if there ' s anybody in the audience that <br /> 17 knows somebody that wants to go out and kill beaver <br /> 18 or if there ' s , you know, a youth group or 4 -H or <br /> 19 something like that or somebody wants them for pets <br /> 20 or whatever, that maybe the Compact could come up <br /> 21 with a little bit of funding or something like that <br /> 22 to help, you know, some Boy Scouts or something like <br /> 23 that or if anybody has an idea . <br /> 24 MR .
