PENROSE WATER DISTRICT <br /> 340 Grant Street Penrose,CO 81240 <br /> — 2011 — Base-rate increased by $1 to $28.50/eru/month; Usage increased to <br /> $4.50/thousand <br /> — 2012 -No rate increases <br /> As previously discussed, all source of supply for the Penrose Water District is via leasing of raw <br /> water from Beaver Park Water, Inc., a local irrigation company. 2004 negotiations amended the <br /> cost/acre foot price agreement of the 1990 Water Service Agreement for the raw water supply, <br /> effective calendar years 2005-2009. The result of the negotiation was an increase in the cost per <br /> acre-foot of leased water. Rates for 2007 were set to $305.00/af for water actually delivered and <br /> $85.00/af for water not delivered, but required to be purchased in accordance with the contract <br /> table. For calendar years 2008 and 2009 those rates remained unchanged. 2009 was a negotiation <br /> period to set rates for the raw water lease for calendar years 2010-2014.
