Scope of Work <br /> To: Suzanne Sellers, CWCB <br /> From: Marsha Porter-Norton, Facilitator for the River Protection Workgroup <br /> Date: November 13, 2012 <br /> Re: Scope of Work <br /> This memo serves as a scope of work for the River Protection Workgroup (RPW).Through the Dolores <br /> Water Conservancy District(DWCD),funds will be used to pay for continued coordination and <br /> facilitation of the Animas River Workgroup and the Piedra Workgroup, and to finalize plans for the <br /> RPW's Regional Discussion (see page 2), which will start in mid-2013. My hourly rate is$65.00/hour and <br /> Tami Graham's rate is$55.00/hour.Tami is facilitating the Piedra Workgroup. <br /> The following money will be required to complete these tasks(estimated hours in parenthesis): <br /> $1,300.00 5 RPW meetings(20 hours) <br /> $1,950.00 5 Animas meetings(30 hours) <br /> $1,300.00 General project management and helping the RPW finalize the model for the"Regional <br /> Discussion" (20 hours) <br /> $1,300.00 Writing Animas Report(20 hours) <br /> $1,540.00 4 Piedra meetings(28 hours) <br /> $1,100.00 Piedra report writing(20 hours) <br /> $1,510.00 DWCD Fiscal agent fee <br /> $10,000.00 TOTAL <br /> The deliverables for this scope of work include: <br /> • Two more RPW public workgroups will conclude by spring of 2013 (Piedra and Animas) and <br /> reports will be produced for each.This will take approximately five additional meetings of the <br /> RPW for the Animas River and approximately 4-5 meetings of the Piedra Workgroup. <br /> • The RPW Steering Committee will continue to track on the Hermosa Creek Workgroup's <br /> recommendations and will call together the Hermosa Creek Drafting Committee should the bill <br /> require additional input from the community level. (Note:The bill was introduced by Senator <br /> Bennet during the last legislative session and will be introduced again this Congressional <br /> session). <br /> • The web site will continue to be kept up-to-date with meeting summaries, meeting handouts, <br /> etc. <br /> • Community outreach will be done prior to each meeting(including the local media). <br /> • A plan will be in place for organizing, coordinating and carrying out the Regional Discussion (see <br /> information sheet below)which will begin in summer of 2013.The results of two RPW planning <br /> retreats held in 2012 will be used to continue to refine and determine the process steps and <br /> methods for carrying out the Regional Discussion. <br /> This Scope of Work will be completed within five months and will not exceed $10,000. <br />
