Working Draft—GSFO Recreation Appendix- 3-6-2009 <br /> Fisher Creek Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA) <br /> (Alternative D) <br /> RMZ Outcome Objective <br /> The outcome objective identifies the specific recreation activities to be emphasized, the outcomes(experiences <br /> and benefits)to be produced/realized as well as the desired customer assessment standard to be monitored <br /> and achieved. <br /> Participants in visitor assessments report an average 4.0 realization of the targeted experience and benefit <br /> outcomes listed below. Any new non-recreational modifications(e.g. ROWs, <br /> fences, ponds)are not visually obvious or evident. <br /> Visitor Facilities:Simple/basic recreation developments at trailheads along with maintained/signed trails are <br /> found on-site. <br /> Proposed Social RSCCs <br /> Contacts(ava.): Participants will encounter a season average 6-8 encounters/day. <br /> Group Size(avg.): Participants will encounter a season average 4-6 people per group. <br /> Evidence of Use: Sounds of other people occasionally heard. A few small localized areas of vegetation <br /> alteration and compacted/bare soils are acceptable. Inappropriate recreation use is rehabilitated. <br /> Proposed Operational RSCCs <br /> Access(types of travel): Mountain bike single-track trails and use are predominant all recreational use is non- <br /> motorized. <br /> Visitor Services/Info: A simple brochure/map assists visitors. Minimum directional signage is installed on <br /> routes. Rules, regulations and ethics are clearly posted at trailheads. <br /> Management Controls:A moderate degree of visitor and land use controls exercised.
