Working Draft-GSFO Recreation Appendix- 3-6-2009 <br /> The Crown Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA) <br /> (Alternative B) <br /> Recreation Management Zone(RMZ) 1 <br /> RMZ Outcome Objective <br /> The outcome objective identifies the specific recreation activities to be emphasized, the outcomes(experiences <br /> and benefits)to be produced/realized as well as the desired customer assessment standard to be monitored <br /> and achieved. <br /> Participants in visitor assessments report an average 4.0 realization of the targeted experience and benefit <br /> outcomes listed below. New non- <br /> recreational modifications(e.g. ROWs,fences, ponds)are not visually obvious near recreation facilities and <br /> trails. <br /> Visitor Facilities:More facilities(e.g. trailheads, restrooms)are found within the area <br /> Proposed Social RSCCs <br /> Contacts(avg.): Participants encounter a season average 8-10 encounters/day. <br /> Group Size(avg.): Participants encounter a season average 6-8 people per group. <br /> Evidence of Use: Sounds of other people occasionally heard. A few small localized areas of vegetation <br /> alteration and compacted/bare soils are acceptable. Inappropriate recreation use is rehabilitated. <br /> Proposed Operational RSCCs <br /> Access(types of travel): OHV vehicle access is maintained throughout the RMZ. <br /> Page 9 <br />
