The $450,000 HB 98-1189 project
authorization was made for both construction of an emergency spillway and the purchase
of BLM land underlying the reservoir.
The BLM negotiations have languished and produced little indication of promise.
The spillway design has undergone significant changes. This, coupled with flood •
easement negotiations with downstream neighbors, has led us to believe that a re-
evaluation of the project is in order. We will contact the CWCB after such re-evaluation
has been made.
Sincerely,
Alan Meyer,
President
•
