ACWWA has had a conservation <br /> plan on file with the CWCB since November 2006. Water Conservation Plans need to be <br /> updated every seven years and ACWWA's revised plan was due in November 2013. <br /> The Authority's service area is mainly made up of commerical Et industrial accounts. It <br /> provides water for approximately 6,000 residents. ACWWA is forecasted to grow an <br /> average of 3.5% annually through 2020. The estimated water savings goal for this plan <br /> is to the lower the total water use by 10%. ACWWA is also currently compliant with <br /> reporting water conservation data to the CWCB. <br /> The total cost of the project is $59,111.75. ACWWA is committing 25% matching funds <br /> in the form of $1,000 in cash and $13,788.02 of in-kind services. CWCB staff has <br /> reviewed and evaluated the grant application and has determined that the proposal <br /> meets or exceeds the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals.
