Escalante Creek segments. <br /> • Identify possible threats to each ORV listed in the eligibility report for these segments. <br /> • Identify the tools/options the group would consider recommending to BLM regarding <br /> management for protection of ORVs on Cottonwood & Escalante Creek segments. <br /> • Identify additional information the group needs before making a recommendation to <br /> BLM (if needed). <br /> AGENDA <br /> I. Introduction (6:30) <br /> a. Review meeting expectations and agenda <br /> b. Participant introductions <br /> II. Financial Update (6:40) <br /> III. Address questions from March 23rd meeting (6:45) <br /> a. Update on verified property lines, particularly around Bridgeport. <br /> b. Railroad property or right-of-way and is Railroad property included in the public <br /> or private category of the eligibility report. <br /> c. Mineral rights ownership in the corridor <br /> d. How nomination of cultural & historical sites to National Register of Historic <br /> Places could work & BLM's role in that. <br /> e. How management of an NRHP District would differ from NRHP site(s). <br /> IV. Work Session <br /> a. Eligibility Report Overview — BLM (7:00) <br /> b. Identify Existing & Potential Uses of the Area — Stakeholders (7:15) <br /> c. Go through following steps for each ORV (7:30) <br /> i. Brief report from BLM on the ORV <br /> ii. Stakeholders go through worksheet independently, considering: <br /> 1. Is BLM information accurate for this ORV? <br /> 2. What are the possible threats to the ORV? <br /> 3. What is BLM currently doing to protect the ORV? <br /> 4. What BLM management tools/options do you recommend for <br /> consideration? <br /> 5. What could county, landowners, or others do to protect the ORV? <br /> d. Group discussion <br /> V. Assess process, identify needs for additional information, and set topics for next <br /> meeting (8:45) <br /> VI. Adjourn (9:00) <br />
