Wyoming Area Office Page 2 of 2
Bureau of Reclamation
Table 1 also includes the accompanying information for water year 2009 and the 30 -year average
(1980 -2009) for comparison. Graph 1 through Graph 3 displays this information in graphical
format. Based on the April expected North Platte River Operating Plan, the North Platte
Pathfinder ownership (refer to NPRAOP page 3) is estimated to reach a fill by the end of May.
The North Platte Guernsey ownership filled in March 2010.
Assuming the Pathfinder Modification Project was in operation and the North Platte Pathfinder
ownership filled, the Pathfinder Environmental and the Wyoming Accounts would also be
expected to fill.
The Glendo irrigation pool is expected to fill by the end of April. The Kendrick ownership
would not fill given the expected inflow and outflow conditions. The amount of accrual to the
Kendrick ownership is dependent on when Pathfinder fills and the inflow conditions. Releases
from Guernsey Reservoir are expected to be in response to downstream demand.
Reclamation will update the North Platte River operating plans on a monthly basis in response to
changing inflow conditions. Reclamation will prepare the determination of forecasted supply
estimate again on May 1 and June 1 with regard to the need to allocate storage.
For additional information regarding current reservoir contents and releases, please call toll free
1- 800 - 253 -8737 or visit our website (http: /www.usbr.gov /gp) and follow the water operations
link to access Reclamation's HydroMet Data system.
