Negotiations are ongoing to <br />determine which of the specific projects Colorado will build or participate in.) <br />Capital Projects: Platte River Cooperative Agreement <br />• Tamarack Managed Groundwater Recharge Project ($1.2 million for well construction) <br />• Habitat restoration measures that involve acquiring and restoring land in Nebraska on a <br />willing seller basis (Colorado's share will be $2.5 million to acquire 2000 acres at an <br />estimated acquisition/restoration cost of between $1000 and $1500 /acre.) <br />Capital Projects: Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse Habitat Conservation Plan <br />• Habitat protection and restoration measures that involve partnering with local governments <br />and others to acquire and restore land along Colorado's Front Range on a willing seller <br />basis ($1.5 million). <br />Capital Project Approval Process <br />All capital projects will be approved annual via a resolution passed by the General Assembly <br />like Colorado Water Conservation Board Construction Fund projects. <br />
