25 November 2014
ASSESSMENT IMPACT MONITORING
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS
45320 Kilgore Road, Gibbon NE 68840
308 - 627 -6343
Dr. Jerry Kenny
Platte River Recovery Implementation Program
4111 4th Avenue, Ste 6
Kearney NE 68847
Dear Dr. Kenny:
Enclosed please find Invoice 9 with attached documentation for the Fall 2014 Whooping
Crane Monitoring of our Contract for Services Agreement between Nebraska Community
Foundation, Inc., Platte River Recovery Implementation Program, WEST, Inc., and AIM
Environmental Consultants with amendments dated 29 September 2014. The total amount
requested is $31,442.66.
Two Whooping Crane groups consisting of five individuals were detected during the
seasonal survey. Due to the mild weather, we extended the survey 2 days. We did not detect any
Whooping Cranes during the extended season (November 11 -12); however, satellite telemetry
indicated the presence of a radioed crane upstream of the Chapman bridge on the morning of
November 11, one day after the regular survey ended.
Thank you for the opportunity to work on this project. Please contact me if you have any
questions.
Sincerely yours,
Gary R. Lingle, M.S.
Avian Ecologist and President of AIM Environmental Consultants
ENCLOSURES
