No damage occurred to the existing
pump, piping, manifold or electric transformer. Ducks Unlimited has designed a repair project to restore
operations of HRWP that includes construction of the following: bank repair and stabilization, slotted
infiltration piping, pond and slough embankments, headgate installation, infiltration manhole, and piping
from lift pump to manifold system. The total cost of the repair project is estimated at$259,517 to be paid
for out of the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Species Conservation Trust Fund. The Lower South
Platte Water Conservancy District and the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District will administer
funds from CWCB to Ducks Unlimited via separate Purchase Orders from CWCB and contracts with
Ducks Unlimited. Project is estimated to be complete in 2014.
1 .
