City of Cortez Agenda Item 18a <br /> January 26-27,2015 Board Meeting(Updated January 28,2015) <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br /> Water Efficiency Grant Program <br /> Source of Funds: $50,000 Water Efficiency Grant Funds <br /> Matching Funds: $850,000 CWCB Loan and$200,000 DOLA Grant (potentially), $100,000 to$300,000 <br /> cash funds <br /> Discussion: <br /> The proposed Project effectively meets the objectives of the Water Efficiency Grant Program and <br /> meets the requirements for applicants requesting funding for Metering Infrastructure Projects set forth <br /> in the Grant Guidelines for Water Conservation Implementation Projects. <br /> Reporting and Deliverables: All data and information developed as a result of this grant must be <br /> provided to CWCB in electronic format as part of the project documentation. This information will in <br /> turn be made widely available to the general public and will help future applicants in their pursuit of <br /> improving their water metering infrastructure. <br /> In accordance with the revised Water Efficiency Grant Program Guidelines, staff would like to highlight <br /> additional reporting and final deliverable requirements provided below: <br /> Reporting: The applicant shall provide the CWCB a progress report at the 50%and 75% intervals <br /> of the project, beginning from the date of the executed contract. The progress report shall <br /> discuss the success of meeting previously identified goals and objectives, obstacles <br /> encountered, preliminary findings or accomplishments and the potential need to revise the <br /> scope of work and timeline. <br /> Final Deliverable: At completion of the project, the applicant shall provide the CWCB a final <br /> report that summarizes the project and documents how the Project was completed. This report <br /> may contain photographs and or maps where AMR meters have been installed. <br />
