The Closed Basin project report was released in early December.
It proposes initial acquisition of real estate and a construction
start. The Department of the Interior has, however, chosen not to
authorize a construction start and believes that re-authorization of
the project is necessary. The State supports a construction start and
will testify to that effect as appropriate.

The next meeting of the Board was set for March 17, 1980, in
Denver, Colorado.
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr.
Stapleton adjourned the meeting at 3 p.m.
