• <br /> Draft <br /> JOINT RESOLUTION NO. <br /> AUTHORIZING THE COLORADO WATER RESOURCES AND <br /> POWER DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO PROCEED WITH THE <br /> CONSIDERATION OF CERTAIN PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has caused to <br /> be prepared feasibility studies of certain projects in Colorado; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has, pursuant <br /> to section 37-95-107, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, reviewed <br /> said feasibility studies and forwarded the same to the General <br /> Assembly together with its recomendations thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, these projects would preserve, protect, and <br /> conserve the water resources of the State; promote the beneficial <br /> use of the waters of the State for the protection and preserva- <br /> tion of the public health, safety, and welfare; create and <br /> preserve jobs and employment opportunities; and improve the <br /> economic welfare of the people of the State; and <br /> WHEREAS, the General Assembly deems these projects to be in <br /> the interests of and to the advantage of the people of the State; <br /> 1 19a <br /> (over) res <br />
