Mr. Greg Hobbs (Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District)
stated that the District' s Board of Directors supported the
filings on the Cache la Poudre, but requested that the lower
terminus of the lowest segment on the mainstem Poudre be changed
from what appeared in the final notice to coincide with the
terminus of the river segment being proposed for wild and scenic
river designation, as was set out in the staff ' s recommendation
(see appendix W) . Mr. Jencsok reported that the Fort Collins
City Council similarly supported the Poudre filings, having
passed Resolution No. 85-202 to that effect. Mr. Lochhead
moved, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the Board approve the
staff 's recommendations for the Cache la Poudre River. The
motion passed unanimously with Mr. Johnson abstaining because
of his representation of a client with an interest in the matter.
