A Bill for an Act concerning the Creation of
the Colorado Water Resources Development Fund
1. Line 11, page 2--strike "subsection (2)" and insert in lieu
thereof "subsections (2 ) and (3 ) " .
2. Lines 14-24, page 2--strike these lines and replace them
with:

i "(2) Moneys credited to the fund shall be appropriated
by the general assembly to, and shall be used for the
purposes established for, the Colorado water conservation
board construction fund, established by 37-60-121 ,. C.R.S.,
and the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development
Authority, established by 37-95-104, C.R.S.
(3) Moneys credited to the fund shall [may?] also be
appropriated to the departments of law and natural resources
for the legal, engineering, and associated expenses of
•
administrative or regulatory proceedings before federal
agencies or instrumentalities or of litigation concerning the
protection of the state of Colorado' s interests in its water
resources."
