Plata and Narrows projects are uncertain, but the former may be
included in a possible supplemental appropriations bill.
The widespread concern among water development interests
over the implications of potential measures for protection of
endangered Colorado River fish species was described by Mr.
McDonald. Since these measures include establishment of minimum
flow requirements from future water storage projects, the Board
decided to place the matter on its next meeting agenda.
Mr. McDonald indicated that there are no reports from the
Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority or the
State Engineer.
The Board recessed to view a videotape of the operation of
Colorado River Reservoirs during the Spring runoff of 1983.
There being no further business, Chairman Vandemoer adjourned
the meeting at 9 : 15 a.m. on September 9 , 1983 .
• These minutes were approved by the Colorado Water Conservation
Board in a regular meeting held in Denver, Colorado, on July 13 ,
1984.
SEAL J.
