• 1 The proceeds received from any conveyance under this sec-
2 tion shall be credited to the appropriation account bearing the
3 costs of such land acquisition for the affected wild and scenic
4 river, and shall be available for expenditure only to the
5 -extent, and in such amounts, as may be provided in advance
6 in appropriation Acts. Any proceeds remaining in such ac-
7 counts shall be covered into miscellaneous receipts of the
8 Treasury upon completion of such land acquisition for the
9 affected wild and scenic river.".
10 SEC. 314. Section 16(c) is amended by adding a new
11 sentence at the end thereof, "For any designated wild and
12 scenic river the appropriate Secretary may deem the acquisi-
• 13 tion of fee title with the reservation of regular existing uses
14 to the owner, as a scenic easement for purposes of this Act,
15 and such an acquisition will not constitute fee title ownership
16 for purposes of section 6(b).".
17 TITLE IV-AMENDMENTS PERTAINING TO STATE
18 COMPONENTS OF THE NATIONAL WILD AND
19 SCENIC RIVERS SYSTEM
20 SEC. 401. Section 2(a) of the Act is amended as follows:
21 (a) In the first sentence, clause (ii), add the phrase "au-
22 thorized for inclusion in the national system and" before the
23 word "designated".
24 (b) After the first sentence, insert the following new sen-

25 tence: "Any river included within the national wild and
