3 (b) Delete the wording of the first subsection 5(b)(4) be-
4 ginning with "There are authorized" and insert in lieu there-
5 of 'the sentence "For the purposes of conducting the studies
6 of rivers named in section 5(a), there are authorized to be
7 appropriated such funds as are necessary.".
8 (c) Renumber the second subsection 5(b)(4) beginning
9 with "The studies of the river" as 5(b)(5) and renumber sub-
10 section 5(b)(5) as subsection 5(b)(6).
11 TITLE III—AMENDMENTS TO PUBLIC LAW 90-
12 542, AS AMENDED
13 SEC. 301. The first sentence of section 3(b) is amended I
14 as follows:
15 (a) Delete the words "date of this Act" and insert in lieu
16 thereof the words "date of such designation".
17 (b) Delete the second parenthetical statement and insert
`18 in lieu thereof the parenthetical statement, "(which bound-
19 aries shall include an average of not more than three hundred
20 and twenty acres of land per mile measured from the ordi-
21 nary high water mark on both sides of the river)'.
22 (c) Delete the semicolon and the remainder of the sen-
23 tence after the words "its various segments" and insert in
24 lieu thereof a period.
