m
v
50 0
0
0
0
m
0
CHAIRMAN KRAMER: More than that, there is no provision -A
H
for any release of stored water during the winter season.
MR. IRELAND: No, that is correct. It looks like we 0
have got to write two sentences in there, then.
CHAIRMAN KRAMER: Well, another way to do it is simply m
to leave out reference to 'A" and make it "releases of water
stored pursuant to the provisions of paragraph B.
SECRETARY HOE: But you store water in the winter, which
is under A.
CHAIRMAN KRAMER: You store it under both A and B, but
release it only under B.
MR. KNAPP: Or we oould strike the words "A and B" in
the second line. I see no point whatever in the last seven
lines in that paragraph, because we say, "releases of water
stored pursuant to provisions of paragra4Ph B," but paragraph
B as this Article is would then read, 'shall be made upon
demands by Colorado and Kansas concurrently or separately, '
and we have said everything we need.
MR. ARM: You mean to eliminate the last seven words of
the sentence, rather than the last seven lines of the para-
graph?
MR. KNAPP: Isn' t that what I said, the last seven words?
