TATE: Yes, sir. m <br /> CHAIRMAN FRAMER: Xou state that water releases upon <br /> demand, that is, releases of stored water can not be sub- <br /> , <br /> sequently stored in Kansas. I think that statement should be <br /> qualified by the provision which we have put into paragraph <br /> E-L, Article V, which permits of storage downstream by <br /> authorization of the Administration. It sight be-- <br /> MR. TATE: well, it might be, but that was to take ears <br /> of flood spills or unusual conditions. <br /> CHAIRMAN KRAMER: Or if it was an advisable thing to do, <br /> they could authorise it. <br /> MR. TATE: I will qualify my statement to that extent. <br /> CHAIRMAN KRAMER: Now, Mr. Ireland. <br /> KR. IRELAND; I would like to make this statement in <br /> answer to what has been said.
