m
O
, O
C
34
Afternoon Session
First Day
Monday, November 8, 1948
Z
• (The meeting resumed work at two o' clock p. m. )
0
CHAIRMAN EVER: We will resume discussion of the
matter presented before our luncheon recess, namely, the
question of the composition of the Colorado commission,
which Mr. Ireland undertook to resolve, if possible, during
the noon hour. I will ask Mr. Ireland for his report.
M.H. IRELAND: I went in and talked to Judge Stone, and
asked what he thought about it. He seemed to feel that there
would not be any question later on about the compoEition of
the Colorado commission or whether or not three of us could
act as well as four, and he said he would take it upon himself
today to raise the question with the Governor and get a
letter from the Governor and send it around to the members
of the Water Board and have them all approve it. Than
there would not be any question about it.
CHAIRMAN SEER: I overheard part of your conversation,
in fact, I was in on it part of the time. It is my under..
standing, when all of that is completed, that that letter
will then be transmitted to us or an offioial copy of it to
this oommiesion for our official information.
